Source and method

Public air traffic records, normalized for comparison.

This dashboard combines Chile's JAC traffic data, Peru MTC's passenger workbooks, Brazil ANAC's open transport statistics, and Argentina Yvera's Conectividad Aérea resource.

Passengers are available for all four countries. Chile and Brazil also provide cargo, mail, and distance. Argentina provides flights and seats. Peru is a monthly country/market passenger total, so it is excluded from route, operator, and country-pair detail charts.

The committed CSV is generated by uv run python sites/south-america-air-traffic/build_data.py. The dashboard defaults to all available country coverage, so recent months may include some countries before others publish.
